Samsung came out with Samsung TL 500 targeting the photo enthusiasts who always demand for high features in their cameras. Samsung TL 500 is highly professional and smart. It is excellently built with high features to suit its quality.

Samsung TL 500 is the right option to make creative photographs as it contains superior control options. Samsung TL 500 can be purchased with $ 419.99. But it deserves much more than its cost.

Samsung TL 500 has a 10 mega pixels CCD sensor and a lens of 3x optical zoom with wide view angle. It also has JAW and JPEG image shooting options and VGA video recording. Further it has dual image stabilization. The display is awesome with 3.0 inch swivel display. It has a high ISO performance going up to ISO 1600. It has lots of exposure mode nearly eighteen for both beginners as well as experienced users. There are also ten photo style modes. Photos can be saved in SD or SDHC memory cards.

It has all types of image adjustments. It has a voice recording of 10 hours. It also has a good shutter speed. It has a good battery life and rather a class one camera.

Samsung TL 500 lacks the HD video capture option and it has a weak built in flash. You cannot charge the battery of the camera while it is used as it charges in the camera. Another thing that the Samsung TL 500 pack lacks is the A/V cable which most of the users feel a great downfall.

But rather Samsung TL 500 is a smart and posh model for a photographer and much more convenient for any use. The high features of Samsung TL 500 can take you beyond the traditional photography and make your images more than how you expect them to be.

Lets look at Samsung product that released last month, which is Samsung NX100 With In-Lens Camera Controls. It was compact addition to their NX line of mirrorless, interchangeable lens cameras. With this new Samsung NX100 adds to the growing list of digital SLR alternative “EVIL” (Electronic Viewfinder

Interchangeable Lens) cameras, which also includes the Panasonic and Olympus Micro Four Thirds system, Sony’s NEX and SLT Alpha lines and Samsung’s own NX10, introduced early this year.

I like the new improve way Samsung does on its camera, where a typical camera-user wraps their hand around the lens when holding the camera, the new system means that photographers can naturally use their left hand to change settings through the intuitive i-Function lens without the need to take the cameras off the target. Users can toggle between shutter speed, aperture, EV, WB, and ISO quickly and easily by simply using the i-Function button and ring on the lens, meaning easier and quicker configuration while shooting.”

Personally, the auto focus performs is one of the reason why you should have this camera. Right now, slow auto focus is the Achilles heel of the EVIL camera category. I’m looking forward to the first compact mirrorless system camera with auto focus that performs like a digital SLR. Samsung claims that their NX cameras have, “one of the fastest AF on the market today.” If their auto focus really is significantly better, it could give the new NX100 a serious edge against the Sony, Olympus and Panasonic compact mirrorless cameras that are available right now.

Lets have a look at the Specification before you buy:

Image sensor: 14.6 Mega-pixels APS-C size CMOS sensor
Useable lens: Samsung Lenses

Samsung has launched 14.2MP versions of its dual LCD compact cameras in the shape of the ST600 and ST100. Both feature larger 3.5″ rear LCDs and slightly bigger 1.8″ front LCDs compared their DualView predecessors (known as 2View in Europe). The ST600 comes with a 5x image stabilized zoom starting at a useful 27mm equivalent, while the ST100 comes with a 35-175mm equiv. lens. The ST100 is a departure for the DualView series, being a card-style camera built around a periscope lens. Both cameras are designed around touch-screen interfaces. The ST600 and ST100 will be available from September at a retail price of $329.99 and $349.99 respectively.

Ridgefield Park, NJ (July 21, 2010) – Samsung Electronics. Co. Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technology, today unveiled the latest additions to its DualView camera portfolio, the 14.2 mega-pixel ST600 and ST100. Reinforcing the company’s position as a global leader in the digital imaging industry and a driver of innovation, the ST600 and ST100 build off of the success of the TL225 and TL220, offering consumers a stylish design, a full-range of smart and easy-to-use features, and Samsung’s revolutionary dual LCD technology.

The new flagship models of the Samsung DualView camera family, the ST600 and ST100 each received an upgrade to their front LCD screens, activated by a simple tap, which now measure 1.8” compared to the 1.5” front LCD screens found on their DualView predecessors. With larger front LCD screens, the ST600 and ST100 make it easier for consumers to properly frame themselves in their photos and videos and be part of the action by stepping out from behind the camera and joining friends and family in front. The Samsung DualView ST600 and ST100 are also available in stylish, mood-inspired colors, including purple (ST600) and pink (ST100), and are encased in a slim and sleek compact frame with a metallic finish to deliver a new sense of fun and modern functionality that will ensure users stand out from the crowd.

“Today’s launch is an important landmark for Samsung as it reinforces our position as a leading innovator in the digital camera market,” said SJ Park, President of Samsung Digital Imaging Division. “Unlike any other feature found on digital cameras, consumers immediately recognize the value of what our dual LCD technology can do for them. There is no learning curve or technical understanding that must be achieved as it is a natural extension of what our customers are already doing. Samsung is looking to simplify that task with the new ST600 and ST100, ensuring they have the ability to take the perfect profile shot, and never have to miss that perfect picture moment with family and friends, even if they’re not behind the camera.”

High-Quality Optics and Images
The Samsung DualView ST600 and ST100 come equipped with high-quality Schneider KREUZNACH lenses which are supported by Optical and Digital Image Stabilization to help consumers produce blur-free images. The ST600 combines a powerful 27mm wide-angle focal length with a 5x optical zoom, while the ST100 is the first Samsung DualView digital camera to feature an internal, 5x optical zoom, which keeps the design optimally chic (35mm focal-length).

Innovative and Easy-to-Use Functions
The new ST600 and ST100 feature Samsung’s Smart Auto (Still & Movie) scene recognition technology. With Smart Auto (Still & Movie) selected, the ST600 and ST100 take the guess work out of taking a great photo or video. Smart Auto (Still & Movie) analyzes key elements of the composition of the image such as color, brightness, motion and subject and then selects the appropriate scene mode which will produce the best results.

As DSLRs have become less expensive, the number of people keen to buy high-end, manually controllable compact cameras has fallen away – so long as camera size isn’t an issue, the benefits of a larger sensor are hard to resist. However, because size is a concern for some people, the sector didn’t die-off entirely and, in July 2008, Panasonic introduced the DMC-LX3, finally giving an alternative to Canon’s well-respected G-series.

Now Samsung, another vast electronics specialist wanting to show off its photographic credentials has introduced the TL500 (EX1 outside North America), a pretty little thing that follows the LX3 recipe of a fast, wide (though reach-limited) zoom lens in a fairly compact metal body. The Samsung offers an impressive F1.8-2.4 zoom lens that covers a range from the very wideangle 24mm equivalent out to 72mm equiv. making it a fraction faster than the LX3 at the wide end and a touch longer at the other.

The other standout feature of the TL500 is undoubtedly its rear screen – not only does it have a fully articulated screen, it also has the excellent VGA-equivalent OLED screen we first saw on the NX10. In principle OLED screens can be more efficient and offer greater contrast than LCD panels because they can selectively light just the pixels that need to be illuminated. They also promise greater viewing angles.

Samsung has surprised the world with the introduction of the DualView TL225, one of the first digicams ever to offer dual LCD screens, one located on the front of the camera, along with the typical display on the back. This “DualView” approach is aimed towards those who are constantly taking self-portraits or small group shots using the one-handed, self-photographer method; turning the camera towards you and holding it with one hand while posing for the photo with a friend or loved one.

This is accomplished using a 1.5-inch LCD located on the front of the camera, which allows you to take sharp, high-quality photos, whether you are in front of or behind the camera. The TL225 also features a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD on the back offering a whopping 1,152K pixels of resolution. This 12-megapixel model also offers a 4.6x optical zoom lens, Smart Auto exposure mode, and H.264 format (MPEG4) HD video recording at 720p resolution.

Camcorder manufacturers know they need a hook to sell these devices, and with Samsung’s SMX-C20, that means deviating from the traditional camcorder look. The C20 lens is angled approximately 25 degrees upward, giving it a more natural feel when gripped. The result is a comfortable and ergonomic design, one Samsung claims is ideal for long recordings.

The idea of a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera had been circulating for many years before Panasonic and Olympus announced the Micro Four Thirds camera system in August 2008, so it’s not surprising that they didn’t have the market to themselves for very long. Back when there was still only one Micro Four Thirds camera on the market, electronics giant Samsung showed a prototype of what was to be the first mirrorless interchangeable camera with an APS-C sized sensor. Ten months later that prototype has evolved into a finished product in the form of the NX10.

While other large manufacturers are starting to talk about launching mirrorless systems, Samsung has become the third manufacturer to actually to turn talk into tangible product. However, while Samsung is only the third party to enter the fray, enough time has passed for the other mirrorless makers to have moved on to their second-generation of cameras, including the newly-launched Panasonic G2 and G10. Between them these two cameras (which like the NX take many of their styling ideas from DSLR designs) are likely to make life pretty difficult for the Samsung. The G10 doesn’t match the NX’s spec but is aggressively priced while the G2 offers smarter video compression and touch-screen cleverness, which will be attractive to some. And they have the advantage of being second-generation products, with the enhanced level of refinement that this tends to bring.

The big distinction is that Samsung has decided to use the larger APS-C sensor of the type that is the de facto standard size in DSLRs. This offers the potential of good low-light performance (its sensor has a 50% greater surface area than those used in Micro Four Thirds and that means more light for any given exposure) but the lenses are not likely to be smaller than those used on DSLRs.

Samsung NX10 Key Features

15.1 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor (presumed to be close relation to Pentax K7 sensor)

14.6 million effective pixels

New Samsung NX mount (25.5mm flange-back distance)

720p movie capture (H.264, 30 fps)

Contrast-detect autofocus

3.0″ AMOLED screen (614,000 dots, PenTile RGB array)

921k dot Electronic Viewfinder

30mm F2 pancake and 18-55mm standard zoom options

Samsung is a global electronics giant, able to draw on resources (and in-house technologies) most camera manufacturers can only dream of. And as one of the newer players in the camera market and crucially one of those without the burden (or blessing, depending on your point of view) of a legacy 35mm system to support, it’s hardly surprising that Samsung is one of the pioneers of this new hybrid camera category.

Despite doing pretty well at grabbing a decent share of the compact camera market (mainly, it must be said, by undercutting its Japanese competitors) Samsung has struggled to gain any traction from its partnership with Pentax, which has seen it co-developing sensors (including the one inside the NX10) and slapping its logo on Pentax SLRs. At this year’s PMA, Samsung told us that although relationship with Pentax remains one of ‘close co-operation’, the NX10 has been developed entirely in-house, independently of Pentax (or any other partner: Samsung claims the NX is 100% Samsung).

As 2010 gets underway, Olympus and Panasonic no longer have the mirrorless interchangeable lens market to themselves. As well as the Samsung NX10, Sony recently announced (at this year’s PMA show in Anaheim) its intention to create a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera as well. The forthcoming Sony offering, like the NX10, will feature an APS-C sensor too. How the market evolves remains to be seen, but for now, it’s all very exciting.

As with Micro Four Thirds the key to NX is that it allows the cameras to be slimmer by removing the mirror box and optical viewfinder and replacing them with an all-live view system (using the sensor itself to display a preview image on the screen or electronic viewfinder). The flange-back (lens mount to sensor) distance is reduced by around 40% to 25.5mm, the lens mount itself is shrunk and the net result is a camera with an SLR-sized sensor and interchangeable lenses, but in a considerably smaller package.

For Samsung, a company with little experience in optics but an awful lot of experience in solid-state electronics it’s also a way to make a system camera that contains little, if any legacy technology and very few moving parts. Digital SLRs use a sometimes awkward pairing of cutting edge electronics and decades-old mechanical systems harking back to the days of film, whereas these new ‘hybrid’ system cameras are designed and built from the bottom up as purely digital devices. It’s our understanding that they’re also a lot cheaper for a company like Samsung and Panasonic to make than anything requiring a precision engineered fast-moving mirror and reflex viewfinder.

At present, the NX system is fairly small, but five more lenses are on the way, including a 20mm pancake, a 60mm macro, and a new 18-200mm ‘superzoom’. For now though, the NX system comprises the following:

NX10 body

Three lenses (30mm, 18-55mm, and 50-200mm)

Dedicated flashguns (SEF20A or SEF42A)

Various cases, straps and cables
