Images and videos taken with the camera can be viewed on 3D televisions and the company’s 3D photo frames. It offers a new Auto 3D mode and records sound in stereo. The FinePix Real 3D W3, its second 3D compact camera, and the first to shoot movies in HD.

A world’s first!
While smaller and lighter than the original model, the FinePix W3 adds a bigger and better quality screen, an Auto 3D mode, stereo sound recording and the unique ability to shoot video in Real 3D in High Definition, with live or recorded playback via direct connection to any 3D TV – using an HDMI mini-cable (hi-speed type) 1.4 cable.

The FinePix W3 continues Fujifilm’s strategy of offering Real 3D content by replicating the human visual system in combining two high quality lens and two CCDs in the one chassis – and allows consumers the option of viewing 3D images and video either with or without special glasses.

3D content can be viewed, and on a huge scale, on any of the increasing number of large screen 3D TVs by using the sets’ supplied glasses.

Alternatively consumers can also view stunning 3D images and video without glasses through the camera’s built-in 3.5inch LCD display or via the optional 8” 3D digital viewer/photoframe. Images can also be made into special ‘lenticular’ prints – via a unique printing process which will shortly be available in the UK for the first time and in a range of sizes up to 9”x6”.

Owners of 3D TVs can also rest assured that the FinePix W3 will show their new screen at its very best, thanks to the unique 3D HD video recording and a parallax control function which helps to remove crosstalk problems by allowing 3D fine tuning, even after the images have been taken.

A rather special 2D Camera
They may already be bowled over by the unique 3D performance of the FinePix W3, but consumers can also be happy in the knowledge that they are also purchasing a very special 2D camera indeed.

This new technology has also brought some unique benefits to shooting images and video in the 2D world, bringing new creative freedom to the user.

Very small and handy and really suitable for carrying around on package. This camera has all it takes for a perfect camera on hands. 10x optical zoom and compact camera body. The Fujifilm FinePix JZ500 is no bigger than a Canon digital ELPH, and it packs a 10x zoom.For some shooters, the JZ500′s dearth of manual exposure options, lack of an optical viewfinder, and very limited user input may seem a bit disconcerting, but in reality, they are well matched to the needs of the camera’s target audience.

Pros

    * Easy to use
* 10x optical zoom
* Good image quality

Cons

    * Slightly pricey
* No handgrip
* Battery life tricky to predict

World’s smallest 18x zoom lens has been announced by Fujifilm in the shape of FinePix S2800HD. 14MP version of its existing S2500HD/S2600HD model, using the same 28-420mm equivalent zoom lens and 3.0″ LCD. It offers standard 720p HD video recording alongside features such as AF tracking and Panorama Shooting mode, and is powered by AA batteries.

July 21, 2010: Fujifilm is proud to announce the arrival of the FinePix S2800HD: with a generous 18x Fujinon optical zoom lens and a small lightweight body, this camera really packs a punch. Especially when matched with its 14 megapixel sensor, and well balanced feature-set including 720p HD movie and Full 1080p HD still image capture. This is the latest addition to Fujifilm’s S-Series range of cameras, widely respected by those looking for extra-long zoom capabilities, combined with the ease-of-use of a compact camera. Delivering top image quality consistently, whilst combining the very best Fujinon lenses with Fujifilm’s proprietary image processing, you can shoot with confidence every time.

Powerful Fujinon *1 18x zoom
The S2800HD sports an impressive 28mm – 504mm* high precision Fujinon optical zoom lens. This range allows you to capture the action, even when you’re at a considerable distance away; from the most cinematic of landscapes to the wildest of wildlife – the FinePix S2800HD has the ability to take it all in its stride.
Motion Panorama
Fujifilm’s new Panoramic shooting mode that features on the S2800HD cleverly eliminates the risk of uneven landscapes or shaky horizons. Simply select Panorama mode and start shooting then, align the + symbol into the circle and the shutter will automatically release to seamlessly stitch the shots together in-camera. The result? Effortless and stunning panoramic shots just desperate for framing and hanging on your lounge wall!

Sharp, clear shots
Even at the longest zoom settings or in the most challenging of lighting conditions, the S2800HD is able to produce crisp, clean results. With its mechanically stabilised 1/2 3”, 14 megapixel CCD sensor, and high ISO sensitivity settings, Fujifilm’s Dual Image Stabilisation technology combines to reduce the blurring effects of both hand-shake and subject movement to provide superb pictures.

Advanced HD capabilities for Both Movies and Stills
For the complete viewing experience, the FinePix S2800HD is HD enabled and can therefore play-back both stills (1080p) and movies (720p) in superb HD quality. Images appear crisp and even more true to life, a perfect way to share memories – and show off a little! Additionally, the FinePix S2800HD features a mini HDMI port so it’s quick and easy to connect to a HD ready TV via a mini HDMI cable (not included).

The Battery price quit affordable for adding extras.Digital Image Stabilization also great and satisfactory. Jpeg and CCD-RAW file settings, std and fine in Jpeg.Good low noise at 100 – 400 ISO and Fast focus. It is also great in speed writing std and raw files for a super zoom. Wide 10x optical zoom lens; Capable EXR Auto shooting mode; Pro-Focus and Pro Low-Light Shooting modes; Bright 3.0-inch LCD; Nice compact body; Captures high quality photos at low ISO settings; Excellent shooting performance after stat-up

Cons
Above average amounts of noise; HD video is just average; ISO 3200, 6400 and 12800 are pretty much useless; Below average battery life.

Bottom Line
The FinePix F80EXR is a compact powerhouse that offers speedy performance, good image quality, and loads of cool and useful exposure options. However, it does exhibit higher amounts of noise than we’d like to see.

We bring to you the FinePix F80EXR, Fuji’s latest compact super-zoom. Using a powerful Fujinon 10x zoom lens, Fijifilm claims that no matter what the setting, the lens depicts what the eye sees. Enabled with Super CCD EXR, a 3 stage sensor employing Fine Capture (high resolution), Pixel Fusion (High Sensitivity & Low Noise), Dual Capture (Wide Dynamic Range) technologies for superior picture quality. The F80EXR boasts 12- megapixels of resolution for large size prints. The high contrast 3.0-inch LCD gives you a nice large viewing area for framing your shots and playing them back. Keeping the images sharp is aided by Fujifilm’s Dual Image Stabilization, which brings together FinePix sensitivity to stabilize motion blur and CCD-Shift image stabilization compensates for camera shake.

The F80EXR alsp offers industry standards such as facial recognition, face detection and a plethora of scene modes including some new artistic modes. They up the ante by adding facial recognition for dogs and cats as well as a face registration system where you can enter names and information for up to 8 faces. When the camera recognizes any of the registered faces it will set focus and aperture priorities for them. All of this housed in a sleek compact body that will slip conveniently in a pocket or small purse to be taken anywhere. The F80EXR is available in Red, Black, Pink or Silver and sells for between $270.00 and $300.00 at our partner sites.

Pros
Awesome 30x optical zoom lens with manual operation; Versatile 24-720mm focal range; Cool Pro Low-Light Shooting mode; Bright 3.0-inch, tilting LCD; Well built and comfortable body; Produces nice exposures and colors outdoors; Competitive shooting performance for a mega-zoom; Great Price; Good battery life for a model using AAs; Captures nice 1080p HD video for a digicam

Cons
Uncomfortable eye piece; Narrow viewfinder magnification; Above average amounts of noise at all ISO settings; ISO 3200 and 6400 are pretty much useless; Limited playback information

Bottom Line
FujiFilm has produced a competitive model in the mega-zoom category. This model is sure to please those who are looking for a step up from their current point-n-shoot, but are not quite ready to take on the dSLR world. Our only real complaint is that we were hoping for better image quality and high ISO performance from the BSI CMOS sensor.

FujiFilm has released one of their most impressive high performance “Bridge” cameras to date (6/2010) with the introduction of the Fujifilm FinePix HS10. This new camera combines a powerful Fujinon 30x manual optical zoom lens and advanced functionality, all in a body slightly more compact than a standard DSLR, but with all the attributes of its full sized brethren. The Fujinon 30x optical zoom covers a versatile 24-720mm (equivalent on a 35mm camera) range from true wide-angle to ultra telephoto. And the fact that this is a fixed lens means no worries about dust on the image sensor. Some of the great features of the HS10 are attributed to the BSI CMOS sensor and include: High Speed Continuous Shooting which shoots the action at 10fps at full resolution, Multi-Frame Technology which lets you use powerful Pro Modes to capture scenes with mood and depth and High Sensitivity/Low Noise which means superior photos in low light with even lower noise. A bonus that we like to see on cameras is a large 3-inch Tilting LCD screen for overhead or low to the ground shooting. The HS10 has a selling price of around $450.00 from our partner stores.

FinePix HS10 Features:

10-Megapixel BSI-CMOS imager for pictures up to 3648×2736 pixels

Fujinon 30x optical zoom covers 24-720mm (35mm equiv.)

Triple Image Stabilization combines a mechanically stabilized CMOS sensor with high ISO sensitivities and advanced multi-frame digital stabilization

0.2-inch EVF (Electronic ViewFinder) w/200K pixels

3.0-inch, Tilting LCD monitor w/230K pixels and 97% frame coverage

Movie Mode; 30fps @ 1920×1080(Full HD), 1280×720(HD), 640×480 or 320×240 with Stereo Audio

High Speed Movie Modes up to 1000fps

10fps High-Speed Continuous shooting at full resolution

Voice memos can be attached to still images

Built-in manual pop-up multi-mode flash

Motion Remover mode takes moving objects out of pictures

Fujifilm’s 10-megapixel Finepix A150 digital camera features a 3.0x optical zoom lens that was developed specifically for the A-series by Fujinon. The A150 also offers Picture Stabilization that chooses the correct light sensitivity and compatible shutter speed, producing the highest quality digital pictures without blur and noise.

Using the 3-inch LCD screen, the A150 also utilizes Fujifilm’s acclaimed Face Detection Technology that identifies and prioritizes up to 6 faces in a framed scene and then adjusts the focus and exposure accordingly to ensure the sharpness and clarity of human subjects in the picture, regardless of background.
